On 30th August I was standing in my rickyard when I was approached by a very fit looking
gentleman in shorts, walking boots and small backpack.
“Hello, would you point me towards the footpath please”.
Five minutes later he was on his way again – he still had a long way to go!
73 years old and aiming to complete walking all the footpaths in Northamptonshire, he reckoned he
had completed two-thirds so far.
I stupidly failed to ask his name, but I hope he is well and nearing the end of his quest.
